Meet the Doctor

Dr. Neelam Khaira was born in Kent, England, and moved during her elementary years to the United States, residing for over 20 years in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona and obtained both her medical degree and master's in public health from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Her residency was at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and its affiliated New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. 

Dr. Khaira is an established physician with a special interest in childhood obesity and pediatric asthma, allergy, and immunology. With over 10 years of experience in pediatrics, Dr. Khaira is well-regarded within the medical community. In 2023, she was awarded Top Doctor by Doximity Top Doctors. Dr. Khaira is not only an expert in pediatric medicine; she is a fellow Viridian resident where she resides with her husband. Dr. Khaira brings comprehensive, evidence-based expertise to the comfort and convenience of your home. 

Currently, Dr. Khaira serves as a proud member of Viridian’s Social Committee, contributing to Viridian neighborhood events focused on your children and teens.  She is also a compassionate professional who is committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment that helps put children at ease. She believes healthcare should be as comfortable and stress-free as possible for our young patients.
